Responded to an emergency 9-1-1 dispatch call at 7:25:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 2, 2014. Young male victim was playing with two young male friends when he fell from a tree. Victim lay unconscious as emergency medical services prepare for transport to local hospital. Partner proceeded to take witness testimonies from the two young males while I spoke to the mother of the injured young man prior to releasing her to join her son in the ambulance.
The 15 year old male was brought to emergency room by emergency medical services at 7:19:00 p.m. EST on Friday, May 2, 2014 with injuries to body and head trauma. Full examination and x-rays conclude injuries sustained by young male include: broken left forearm, broken tibia and fibula in lower left leg, minor concussion. Patient also has second degree burns upon right palm and left knee joint. Patient admitted for surgery to repair broken bones and for further evaluation of head trauma.
- Arm and leg re-set and held with screws. Both limbs set in cast which is to remain on for minimum 8 weeks.
- Hand and knee cleansed and bandaged. Require series of cleansing, ointment and bandage every 24 hours until healed.
